Recall Action: Welding and folding issue
Å KODA AUTO found out construction failures at Å KODA SCOOTER that has been sold to customers during years 2019 and 2020. Due to this fact Å KODA AUTO decided to recall all delivered scooters and stop sales of the new scooters. Å KODA AUTO recommends not to operate the scooter anymore and to contact customers' Å KODA Partner.
Due to a not sufficient welding on the scooter skeleton two connected parts of the skeleton can get broken apart. The second possible problem is a not properly working folding mechanism. Unfortunately, customer can’t recognize if the welding is strong enough or if the folding mechanism works properly.
